You remember Purnima Demorais, she was a the despot who ran Harmony Grove school into the ground, and during COVID hired family members with no skill sets into roles where because they lacked the skill, just didn’t do anything…. yes that Purmina Demorais.
A couple weeks ago she wrote a letter to her new parent and student body.
Here’s her new letter. Lets take a look at some of her other letters…. scroll down. Check out our links to the rest of our coverage on Demorais…. we have a feeling a bunch of QRMHS parents will be reading this post real soon.

Dear Parents and Students,
I hope you are enjoying your well deserved summer break. I am extremely excited to have joined the QRMHS family this past Friday, July 1st and am looking forward to a productive partnership with each and every one of you. It is my goal to strengthen communication to ensure we are working collaboratively to best support our students and staff. Below are several important items for your information/review:
Health and Safety:
As you all know the last few years have been a challenging time due to the pandemic. Staff, parents and students have shown us that flexibility and creativity are critical components in dealing with adversity. I ask that you continue this support moving forward as we collaborate to meet any ongoing health and safety needs.
Building and Grounds:
The building and grounds are undergoing a thorough summer clearing. Thank you to our custodial staff for all of their hard work. Things will be in top-notch shape for students’ arrival in August. We are also excited to welcome several students to the middle school summer STEM camp which will take place from July 11th through August 12th.
Student Schedules:
We are working throughout the summer to accommodate student requests and expect student schedules to be available via Aspen on August 8th (tentative date).
Principal Coffee Drop in Sessions:
I will be emailing out a few dates and times during the summer where students, families and staff can drop in to meet with me to discuss any things that may be of interest or simply say hello while having coffee and snacks. More information will be forthcoming.
It is important to remember that each school year our student’s get to reinvent themselves. This includes strengthening their Quabbin pride, achieving high academic and social emotional growth and striving to become active and positive citizens in the community.
I am privileged to be part of the Quabbin family and thank you for your support. I am looking forward to the future and the great opportunities that lie ahead for Quabbin Middle High School. Feel free to reach out to me via email at any time at demorais@qrsd.org if you have any questions.
Purnima DeMorais
QRMHS Principal
The letter below was sent to her staff via google document a couple days before her last day on the job at the Harmony Grove Elementary School in Framingham. While she gave notice – it is believed that Demorais was in the tail end of a HR complaint by several staff members, and had she not given notice…. she would have been asked to leave.
The value of sending this letter by google doc – is that once maximum effect is reached, the source document could be deleted and all copies of the letter gone…. except for the one that saved it, sent it to the school superintendent, from which we were able to retrieve it by a public records request.

What started it all. Three tips from whistle blower employees. The administration was investigating her, but not going fast enough to prevent retaliation from Demorais on some of the whistle blowing staff. FU had to step in and publish the truth, which led to a rapid series of acts, and eventual departure. (10/16/2021)
On her way out of Framingham, she attacked the brave whistleblowers who spoke out to us in order to unleash the truth about what she did to the school. In a letter, a google doc, she wrote it to maximum effect then deleted it at its source. (11/17/2021)
Discussions with those who know her best indicated that Demorais can’t stay anywhere long, and not by her own choice. The other school districts either denied us records, or the records had been so old that they had been destroyed. (1/31/2022)
Did FPS leaders lie in their glowing recommendations sent to various school districts, to alleviate them from the problem of Demorais? (2/8/2022)
Weeks in from taking her job in Tewksbury – we learn she is one foot out the door. (2/12/2022)
Within just weeks of leaving Framingham and starting her new job in Tewksbury, Demorais was already seeking a new job. Later in her Ashland interview she claims that school consolidation plans were the reason she was leaving…. but those plans were not yet in play when she started her job search. What really went wrong…. was likely Demorais herself. (3/2/2022)
Ashland after doing their due diligence and reading our posts – their hiring committee did not like Demorais – as shown in their emails obtained by FOIA. (4/1/2022)
Parents, Educators, and local leaders reviewed Demorais on a candidate review form. She was just not likable or trustworthy. On one feedback form, “When I asked parents in her current school district about her all the feedback was extremely negative ranging from her lack of involvement with the families (example she has never attended one PAC meeting) to great dissatisfaction from the teachers. I am also concerned with her short tenure in her past positions as well as the article I read about her unethical hiring practices at Harmony Grove.” (4/8/2022)
Remember when we gave her the option to apologize to us because we were actively preventing her from getting hired, by sending documents to her potential suitors. Her apology sucked. But we honored our promise and let her get hired. (4/19/2022)
Remember when Demorais tried to change the public record about her…. and actually kind of succeeded. (4/21/2022)
I am sure her Karma will catchup with her soon. I am surprised how school admin do not verify her false claims and check her background thoroughly.
