A FU EXCLUSIVE
We received inside information a couple weeks ago that the certification for all LiDAR and radar guns utilized by the FPD for speed enforcement – had lapsed. The lapse of certifications occurred from June 24, 2022 through August 9-10, 2022 depending on the individual gun.
That’s a lapse of nearly 50 days!!!
We hear that this fuck up can be attributed to Lt. Wareham – who apparently we hear isn’t really doing his job. Head over to the Pelham substation – and see who might be catching flies in their chairs. We are waiting on another FOIA to prove that.
We have filed a follow-up FOIA on who received speeding tickets during the time the certifications were lapsed, and the payment status of each. We intend be able to provide a list of license plates affected by this FPD fuck up, and the amount of money collected. We intend suggest that all persons who paid a fine based on a expired speed gun – sue the city in small claims court for triple damages – in addition to any damages incurred due to the issuance of the ticket (loss of license, loss of job, increased insurance costs, for example).
If you have a speeding ticket that you have not paid yet – and your offense was during the date range in question – you should immediately appeal your ticket and use the documents below prove Framingham in the wrong. If you paid – head over to small claims to sue the city.
The documents below will prove you case. Note that there are 2 more new certifications then there are devices that expired. It is our speculation that the FPD may have owned and used uncertified devices for a unknown period. The two images below depict the devices that show a certification date, but which the city failed to return a prior certification.
