If Fashionable Concepts wins it’s appeals, next month at the state level ABCC/Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, it will 1) turn a profit in the hundreds of thousands of dollars without ever having to open a store in Framingham, and 2) will earn that profit on the backs of local business owners, such as, in this case – Mercari’s Market and Metro Market.
If Fashionable Concepts wins… And Fresh Market is allowed to open with the Fashionable Concepts license, it take decisions out of the hands of residents going forward, and we will need to remember that before purchasing alcoholic beverages from Fresh Market in the future.
