This morning, both shooters took a plea deal in relation to the July 14, 2022 shooting outside of the McDonalds on Cochituate Road, in the drive thru line. The shooting took place shortly before 1am, and both were found after a call was made to police about two individuals suffering gunshot wounds at Metrowest Medical Center.
Moises Bautista of Ashland, then 19 was shot in the leg, and Tiago Xavier of Framingham, then 18, had a single wound to the chest.
Initially, both were charged with assault and battery with a firearm, possession of a firearm in a felony, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 ft from a building.
Both took a plea deal Wednesday morning, for attempted murder, and both will do just a year and a half.
