It just never ends with Purnima – this time she worked with the town and Ashland Public Access (WACA) to delete public records

We finish posting one thing about Purnima Demorias, and another thing comes in. This time she reached out to the town of Ashland and their public access station WACA, and got them to delete public records.

On April 15th, we received new documents from Tewksbury indicating something different from what we thought Demorais said in her televised interview for the Mindess School Principal position in Ashland.

We wanted to go back and check, and found that the while WACA didn’t delete the posts from Facebook, the videos would not play. Additionally the Youtube videos were no longer able to be found.

Destruction of records – is a bad thing. The keeper of the records, in this case was WACA, which is a quasi public, agency, and in receipt of tax dollars is subject to public records laws.

So we filed a FOIA on April 18th:

This morning, April 21st, when we were working on the earlier Demorias apology post, we started noticing that the WACA Facebook page, its VIMEO page, and it’s YouTube page, that the videos were starting to reappear.

This afternoon, the FOIA response came in and we were blown away. The fact that Jim Adams, the Superintendent of Ashland’s public schools thought that the deletion of public records was okay – is concerning.

If you would like to watch Purnima’s interview – scroll down.

IN CASE THE TOWN OR WACA DECIDES TO REMOVE THE VIDEO AGAIN, WE HAVE MADE A COPY AND WILL RELEASE IT.

THE VIDEO STARTS ABOUT 20-23 MINUTES IN
