Is Todd Palmer unhappy working for the city. His LinkedIn seems to indicate he’s actively applying, and that he is open to work in manager roles.
This former cop, left that career for unknown reasons.
He went on to work as a Senior Project Manager & Systems Analyst at Fidelity for 16 years, likely making a shit ton of money.
Most recently, Palmer worked for Dell as a Consultant Customer Advocate/ Senior Manager. That job he did, from home for three years.
What we do know is that Todd Palmer left high paying roles, to take a job as a Senior Records Access Officer with the City of Framingham making under $60,000 to start.
Why would he leave his comfy salary as a Senior Manager at Dell, in selling himself to the city, it was to get “back to my roots”, from when he worked as a police prosecutor.
However per his employment history when he applied for the role, he left Dell, because they eliminated his job.
His 16 years at Fidelity ended because, his “team not located with” him.
Why would he take a pay cut to work for the city. Well technically it wasn’t a pay cut, he had no job as at the time of the application on 1/27/2019, he was coming up to exactly 52 weeks of unemployment. This well beyond his 26 weeks of Unemployment Insurance he would have had. He was desperate.
The good news is that his BFF Jenni Horrigan worked for the Mayor of Framingham as an Administrative Assistant. He had an in.
What we have learned, is that he is not very good at his job…
In the coming days, we expect to obtain all the emails sent between Jenni Horrigan and Todd Palmer in the time before he was hired to his current role. That was requested by FOIA on 2/11/21. Initially it was supposed to be due on March 1st, however the city pushed that back to the maximum time allowed, claiming…
On Monday the 22nd we shall see what happens. We have a feeling all the emails are being held up by legal and will be with held or heavily redacted… illegally, as the information should not be deemed legally privileged.
As for Jenni Horrigan who wrote that BS about 105 requests over 10 weeks. What she left out was that had the records not been so incompetent, the first 30, would have been responded to appropriately and would not have to be resubmitted many times.
What we do know is that Palmer is actively applying and networking to obtain a management role. Our hope is that he will leave quickly and quietly.
