Tonight (Monday May 23rd) at 6pm we’ll be watching – the City Council: Public Health, Safety & Transportation Subcommittee.
The subcommittee, and Tracey Bryant specifically wants – to discuss the Community Preservation Commission issues. But why in this subcommittee???
The Public Health, Safety & Transportation Subcommittee of the Framingham City council is described officially as:
“The Public Health, Safety and Transportation Subcommittee shall be comprised of three Council members and may consider and report on all matters relating to the Police Department, Fire Department, the Police and Fire Auxiliary, the Emergency Management Department, the local Emergency Planning Committee, Public Health Department, Licensing Commission, and any other matters referred to it by the Council or Council Chair.”
Sitting on this subcommittee is the chair Tracey Bryant known for having a knack at putting her nose in places it does not belong, Phil Ottaviani who should know better than allow this discussion, and Leora Mallach.
We have heard that Bryant has pre-written questions she wants to ask, as well as questions from the community for the CPC chair or a representative of the CPC to answer live.
But what does this even have to do with ” Public Health, Safety & Transportation Subcommittee”???
We’ll be watching.
