The readers of FU are upset that a victim holding a court ordered harassment prevention order, was told by police, in a time of perceived danger, that the police could not be bothered to respond. This victim was also told that the court ordered harassment prevention order had exceptions in its coverage.
This was dereliction of duties and a cadre of misinformed police officers on the laws and handling of harrassment prevention orders. It could also be a case of racism.
This matter needs to be investigated internally,
