We’ll start with what people are saying before we get to what the city has now released.

The Metrowest Daily News recently posted a story on Allison Benabdallah, stating that the King Elementary school principal who went on leave, may still be getting paid – all the while the school district being secretive and refusing to turn over documents in records requests. So we reached out to our readers and asked for someone with inside knowledge to utilize our anonymous tip line and speak up.

“Allison Benabdallah was unofficially let go from King school and was allowed to “officially” state she was leaving due to medical concerns which is a bold faced lie and political move to save face to the outside world. What occurs inside FPS buildings is another story, one that should you get records would be set straight. During Allison’s tenure as VP, I know for a fact that King staff members complained to the Superintendent numerous times about her incompetence and unprofessionalism to say the least. She was in a role no one but Allison and central office were pleased about, least of all her staff, students and families. She was easily overwhelmed and unable to handle to most basic “problematic” situations. While these issues are complicated, Bob Tremblay didn’t listen to staff and promoted her to principal where she was investigated for not only her incompetence and lack of professionalism but also making racial remarks to and about staff and students. I am not aware the number of times staff came forward over the years but I do know that complaints were made each year she was at King (and let’s be real, we know while she was at Stapleton too). I do know that Allison was not the only staff member investigated for racial remarks to Black staff member as well as her horrible responses to any students or color but was allowed to stay in her role at school for weeks and potentially longer after many staff members came forward. Allison did in fact hire lawyer(s) to fight these allegations to get her job back but since she didn’t return they must have found enough to let her go on leave or whatever it is they stated. What went on between the district lawyers and Alison’s is not known but clearly they find it appropriate to keep an ignorant and incompetent individual on their payroll.“
