The list below indicates that three businesses are at risk of losing their liquor licenses, including Bertucci’s, Framingham Station, and the Portuguese Club. We also learn from this list that Tennessee’s BBQ is not planning to offer alcoholic beverages. Additionally Nobscot’s Cafe has closed or is in the process of shutting down, and Fashionable Concepts is currently under review – as it never opened, and seeks to sell the license for $300k+ in pure profit to a grocery store – which is under legal review by the city. Los Pino’s – has not yet submitted its application to continue selling alcohol in 2023.
This list shows the restaurants that may not be able to open for dine-in food service. Some of the outstanding bills due are small, and may be easily overcome such as Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Other small bills such as the Brazilian Family Bakery or Sabor De Minas, are still small, but based on the independent nature of the business, may be more difficult to pay. Both these businesses, if they are open in 2023, and if they have not cleared their debts, they will be in violation of their Common Victualler license.
There are several businesses that had a Common Victualler license for 2022 and have not yet renewed for 2023. The list is below. While chains are often late on their paperwork, any business that is small or independently owned – may find themselves in trouble of they fail to renew and try to open in 2023.
Lastly, All entertainment licenses are cleared for renewal.
