In the video below, what you won’t see is the impact itself, what you will see is what happened immediately after the silver Ford Explorer hit the black Nissan.
Before the video opens, the black car was stopped waiting on the traffic light when the Ford hit the Nissan on the right rear bumper. The woman driving the black car – you will see pulling over to the side of the road. She initially thought the other driver was pulling over, however oncoming cars were beeping, and the Ford starting moving again. The woman’s thought the other driver was going to pull in front as it isn’t the best place to stop, but the other car took off. The woman’s passenger got out of the car, only to watch the car drive away.
There was damage. The bumper is scratched and shifted off it’s normal position. They left and went to the police station to file a report. The license plate number of the other driver is known.
Unfortunately as of yet, the police have not done anything nor contacted the complainant. The victim is hoping the insurance company takes the lead using the plate to contact the offending driver’s insurance (if there is coverage) to make the victim whole again.
The Mass license plate number of the offending vehicle is 3RHD14 and comes back to a 2011 Ford Escape XLT, with a VIN number 1FMCU9DG2BKA71622. If you know who drives this car, or where the car is now, send us a tip on our anonymous tipline.
