In Framingham forgery attempt, wanted man captured, now faces the music in Wilton CT

On November 16th, James Greco of Wyantskill NY, was located in Framingham, trying to pass forged checks at the OCP Stop & Shop Citizens Bank branch location. In the incident, he was charged on a fugitive from justice warrant, also attempted larceny, utter counterfeit note, bank note forgery, and identity fraud. .

The fugitive from justice warrant stemmed from a crimes committed at a bank in Wilton CT in July. In that crime, Greco entered the bank and forged checks in the victim’s name, and then deposited the cash into other accounts. On that, he was charged with two counts of identity theft, two counts of criminal impersonation, two counts of larceny, and two counts of forgery. On November 21st, after extradition to CT, he faced a judge for those crimes, and is being held on bond.
