On Jan 30, in City Council, the city will seek millions of dollars in cost overruns in the rehabilitation of polluted Mary Dennison Park. Nearly $20,000,000 was appropriated to the project in 2019. We expect the city to ask for an additional $17,000,000 to make the ends meet, pay the low bid contractor the initial payment of the nearly $37-million and break ground.
