FU checks the arrest logs daily, and on 1/29/2025 we noticed this entry for the day prior. Nicholas Faini was arrested for Lewdness, Open & Gross, a felony.
We checked the court calendar and docket at Framingham District Court and saw an entry for his arraignment to occur on 1/29/2025. Later that day we logged in to the docket system to see what the disposition was, and the entire record for this fella had disappeared. It was like it never happened. Normally, charges that get dismissed, say that. In this case, it was like the whole case just disappeared. That said, while we can’t confirm a disposition in Framingham District Court for Faini, we obtained the associated police report.
When we first posted about this matter on 1/29/2025, we wrote:
“A person by the name Nicholas Faini, in 2023 he began working for the city as a Medium Equipment Operator Trainee, earning about $6,500 that year. The most recent 2025 city compensation tables lists Faini as an current Medium Equipment Operator for the DPW earning $57,750 annually.
There is a high standard for this charge. First the state will need to prove that he exposed his genitals or buttocks to one or more person, intentionally. That it was done openly, or that he intended public exposure, or that he recklessly disregarded a substantial risk of public exposure to others who might be offended by such conduct. That the act was done in a way where alarm or shock would be experienced by a reasonable person, and that at least one person felt alarm or shock.
If he is found guilty for such actions, the state law chapter 272 section 16, calls for imprisonment for not more than three years in state prison, or a fine of not more than $300.
Our guess, is that he’ll be out with a slap on the wrist in no time…“
We don’t know about the disposition of this case, we are concerned that he was removed from the daily court calendar and also his docket removed from the docketing system. Here is the police report.
