This hearing will determine if there is any further recourse for Fashionable Concepts to sell a Package Store license they got for free – in order to build a store – which they never did – for a $360,000 profit. If the city does not renew this license, and we believe that they will not, via a split vote, we are 100% certain that both Fashionable Concepts and Fresh Market (of Hingham) will sue the city.

Thanks for the heads up on the meeting – I did watch it live. Boy, the actions by the attorney for Fashionable Concepts is what gives attorneys a bad rep. I understood what he was trying to accomplish, manipulate the board and/or set up arguments for a lawsuit. He wouldn’t provide any evidence and then his client, when given the opportunity, deferred to his attorney. What a joke and waste of time. I know you will stay on this. I am interested to see how this proceeds.
